I bought a Whirlpool 6th Sense oven from Tafelberg Furnishers in Bellville. On Saturday (8 June) I had the oven installed to discover that the baking trays and drip tray are chipped through to the metal. I reported the issue on the same day and been in contact with Tafelberg every day since and no one can tell me what Whirlpool are going to do about this. Today I contacted the Whirlpool SA offices and been given the run around once more. No one can give me an answer.
The best part is that the baking trays have been coated over where the enamel is chipped. So at production, people are fully aware that the products are reject! If you like reject products, buy Whirlpool... but wait there's more... you also get no service... for free!
So Whirlpool, when you respond to this, all I am interested in is when you can collect the oven so I can get a full refund or expect to deal with the Ombudsman.
