I went to the bakery today and specifically asked the lady behind the counter if all the piemans pies were halaal, she confirmed that they all were with the bakery manager in my presence. I bought a cheese griller and upon returning to the office I decided to check on piemans website before i ate my pie. Much to my disgust, the cheese griller is not halaal as per their website. How many other people have been to. The non halaal pies are kept with the halaal pies and being sold as such! Appalling, thank I had the common sense to check before eating the pie.
