Pick 'n Pay
Non-caring attitude gives me a pain

The PnP Hyper in Bloemfontein provides the most unpleasant shopping experiences imaginable. I have complained in the past about staff who just ignored me for almost half an hour in the restaurant. Then there were numerous occasions where items get to the till not properly price-tagged. It is then a major problem to get someone to go and check the prices. Normally it will be someone from further down in the shop who will have to get to the till, collect the item and then disappear among the shelves. Other staff just ignore the request and drape themselves over the counters, especially closer to closing time. One day I arrived home without some items I bought (and paid for) and with an item that I apparently did not pay for. I was treated like a criminal when I returned to get the missing item and pay for the other one. Managers are difficult to get hold of. On may occasions I tried to get their attention, but they were only hanging on to their cellphones ignoring customers.
Today (Sunday 13 January 2013) my eyes popped out: at the returns counter one of the staff members was sleeping on her arms and ignored the phone. On my way out the phone was off the hook.
