Me and my wife went to the local jet store in otjiwarongo namibia to buy clothes for the children.
when my wife walked out of the door with the products she bought on account the security alarm went off and she asked the security officer what is going on, he replied that she has goods in her possesion and that she must pay the goods by washing his car.
at this time i was outside the store and when i saw that the clothes we just have bought are being scaned and trhown on the floor i aproched my wife and asked her what is going on.
when the security heard me behind him he looked surprised. the security scanner beeped even when there was nothing being scanned on which i replied that the scanner proberly was broken.
the security gaurd then told me that it was not broken "IT IS THE TECHNOLIGY OF THE BOERE"
the manner he said this i felt that he was discrimatating against white people.
during this time there was no jet employee assisting us.
i am a white namibian and the security gaurd a black namibian.
if jet feels that money from white people is not good enough for their stores then please put up a sign "BLACKS ONLY" then we white folks can take our money els where.
