Pick 'n Pay
Otten cake

On Sunday the 2013/02/10 I bought a Pick 'n Pay Devonshire cake for R39.99 with a sell by date of 2013/02/12. When my sister and I ate the cake we noticed that it was unfresh I further looked at the cake I saw that it had green mold. The sponge and the cream of the cake was rotten. My sister and I didn't sleep because we got sick with stomach ache and also vomiting. On Monday the 2012/02/11 I went to see the Manager at Pick 'n Pay Montclair. I spoke to Davhen Armoogam who was the floor manager available at that time. He first told me that they do not make the sponge themselves, it was supplied to them. He also told me that he did not understand why the cream was also rotten because their cream lasts for 3 days. He told me that he will give me an extra R40 and told me that I can call customer care to lodge a complaint and refused to give me his employee number. I am not interested in speaking to anyone from Montclair Pick 'n Pay, because clearly they have no clue what customer service is. And they have shown me that they do not take responsibility for complaints instead they push the blame to someone else.
