Thanks Cycle Lab / Boo to Trek SA!

About 3 weeks ago I ordered a new Trek mountainbike at Cycle Lab in 4Ways. I was kept updated via SMS that the order was confirmed and that I could collect about a week later. I had to leave the country on urgent unscheduled business, so I was not able to receive any further SMSs during the 2 weeks abroad.

When I returned, I drove to the Cycle Lab in 4Ways; very excited to collect my new bike. Unfortunately, I was informed that Trek SA was not able to supply the bike as promised in the 3 weeks since I placed the order, which was a great disappointment for me. Cycle Lab came to the party by offering me another bike right there at the same price as the Trek, even though the ticket price was higher than that of the Trek.

I reluctantly accepted, as my heart was set on the Trek and I have been a loyal Trek fan for years. Cycle Lab immediately conducted a pre delivery service and then proceeded to set up the bike according to my dimensions. They even conducted a Wattbike assessment of my pedalling style.

Now that I have the (non Trek) bike, professionally set up for me, I am extremely pleased. Thank you Cycle Lab for turning a great disappointment into a great experience in the end!
