So my boyfriend bought a fridge from Makro Woodmead on Tuesday. He (my bf) is a very calm, patient person. Firstly he says he was sold the fridge by someone who knew nothing about selling goods and especially good over R4000.00, the reason for Makro to put people in charge of such huge transactions when they knew he was incompetent i dont know. Then (my bf) asked them to deliver it yesterday after 6. They agreed. He had to cancel an important meeting to be home in time to receive the delivery which never came, and they didnt even have the audacity to call and say the wont be coming to deliver, calling them this morning they say they actually dont even make deliveries after 6. so y did their sales person agree to get it delivered after 6? where is the professionalism there? To top it all... Makro consultant i spoke to says my bf should have asked to speak to a different person with regards to the transaction... i mean come on is it not the store's responsibility to make sure the people who sell us goods are trained and know these things before they handle transactions with customers?
