Over promising & under delivering

I bought a TV stand Cash & did not take delivery option, i opted to fetch it my self, right that minute the attitude of a sales lady changed, she told me their delivery trck wont drive from Boksburg just to deliver 1 TV stand, i was told it will take two weeks,
i didnt have a problem with that...
but now 2 weeks later when i called, i'm told it can take up to a month cos their warehouse is closed
my question is how on earth Furniture city can open for business if their warehouse is closed
Thats false advetising right there, selling something they dont have
