Absolutely disgracefull service

Today I went to a edgars store to get a refund on my Edgars account which was over paid/settled about two weeks ago. The reason why my account shows in a credit is because I returned a dvd player to a CNA store the day before because it was faulty. The manager at the CNA branch in PE walmer park, were very help full and told me that I need to wait 24 hours for the system to update and the money to reflect, then I can go to any Edgars branch and they would refund me whatever is owed to me. To my disappointment the manager at the uitenhage branch were not so help full and told me that she needed a 1 month bankstatement a copy of my ID and that it would take some time for MY MONEY to be paid back into my acc. It is my money owed to me by Edgars, and it is not there for them to keep it in their acc till they decide to return it. My bank statement have nothing to do with Edgars and I feel as a valued customer over the last 15 years the least they can do is pay whatever is owed to me over the counter as I would pay my account. Funny how Edgars stores are quick to phone and pest you if money is owed on your account, just a pity it does not work the other way around??? Disgusted
