Hi I purchased a pack of chilli biltong pieces at a BP garage yesterday on 28 December 2013 at 14:00 after opening the packet and eating a few strips I realized that the biltong tasted funny when I turned the pack around the expiry date was June 2013, we are talking about biltong standing on your shelves 6 months later that the expiration date I am appalled at this because clearly the 7 elements of shelf health is not adhered too. Today I had to go to the dr because of the stomach ache I've been experiencing. Iintend taking this further and sincerely hope that you do a thorough investigation, I will no longer eat your products and have already alerted friends and family about my experience. Then I received an email from factory manager on 30 dec 2013, and again on 31 dec clearly stating the rep will call me. Up until 9 jan 2014 no one called me and I again brought this to the factory managers attention, after sending my no again did the rep call to arrange a collection on 13 jan 2014 of the expired biltong today is the 20 jan 2014 almost a month later and I still have the product in possession, this is how putrid the service is, be warned consumers it's appalling.
