Quickly and effectively redeeming buying online

I bought a coffee machine for my hubby's bday before the Xmas rush (even though his birthday is only the 31st of Dec) to make sure it arrived timeously (it did)... But when he opened it, a few weeks after deliver (on his birthday) it did not contain the FREE Illy coffee pods that it was meant to include. Sent a pretty angry email to [URL Removed] and they responded within 24hrs (even though it was New Yesr)... They said that the pods were meant to be included but that the supplier was closed until the 10th of Jan. Almost daily thereafter someone from Takealot emailed to say they hadn't forgotten and would follow up on the 10th. On the 10th I was informed that supplier had made a mistake (copying and pasting the international information about the coffee machine but that the SA product did not include free Illy Pods) but that to compensate they would free of charge send two Espresso glasses. Takealot immediately updated the information & Takealot apologized saying they would have given free pods themselves had the amongst the goods they supply and were helpful telling mme where we could purchase the coffee pods. in addition they delivered the glasses (for free) within 48hours!
