I purchased a corner unit couch at the Canal Walk branch in November 2012. Not long after the purchase the couch started to lower on the one side, then the middle and then the other side.
My husband opened the bottom, of what we saw was shocking.
The quality of wood and workmanship is an absolute disgrace!!! The whole structure of the couch is poor, the staples are stapled miss, and the wood is very poor quality.
I have logged my complaint with Peter (the salesman) who is now working at another branch as Canal Walk branch has closed down...
After not receiving any feedback from him, I later spoke to the lady at reception, who said to me that someone from the factory will come have a look at the couch and contact me to make an appointment.
After weeks that passed, no one contacted me. I contacted her again, she promised again that the person will contact me, and still nothing.
I will never recommend furniture city to ANYONE!!!
