Always buy Mini Magnum ice creams in packs of 6. Yesterday happy to see plain mini magnum pack of 6 on special for rR45. Fortunately bought only 1 box. Immediately after shopping at about 6 pm came e 2 km away and unpacked Ice creams, only to notice melted then refrozen ice cream in plastic holder. Immediately ate 1 to discover when I bit into the chocolate it crumbled into many smaller pieces and the actual ice cream on the stick was probably a third the size it normally is, there was not sufficient ice cream to hold the chocolate in place. I managed to eat some of the chocolate after the mess it had made, but the actual ice cream itself had a dreadful taste and could not be eaten. I have now opened the second ice cream which is exactly the same and has actually been thrown away. Totally revolting to just look at. I have already thrown away till slip but have credit card invoice, the plastic holder was initially washed and put with paper waste which will be collected.
I would normally have dug around in the waste bin to find discarded slip and taken damaged goods back to Pick&Pay, but have recently had major back surgery, am still unable to sit, and still cannot drive.
