I decided to find a vegetable shop nearer my home, so I went to Food Lovers Market. I was so disgusted at the quality of the vegetables. I normally buy a selection of vegetables, fruit and salad greens. The lettuce were awful... I would not feed it to the pigs. In fact let me tell you all they had were green beans that looked fresh. Apples horrible, potatoes when I got them home full of marks that look as they they are about to rot. I bought gem squash as I thought you cant go wrong... gem squash one rotten last night when I wanted to cook them, My husband said the bananas were inedible (I do not eat bananas). Some of the fruit looks good, but look a little harder and you will see bruising, rotting just generally terrible. I realise that we have had extremely hot days but I am afraid that this goes with the business of maintaining quality in a vegetable shop. All I could think of (and the place was busy)... is these poor people flushing their hard earned money down the toilet. In my opinion Food Lovers Market have gotten too greedy and want to supply other food items leaving their quality to go to the dogs. I will never set foot in the place again and hope that many others wont eit
