As a recruiter myself, I know how difficult it is to get good candidates for a position especially if it is for an Internship Development Program.
If one of my Candidates should ask me to meet them at 7.30am due to their work commitments, I would do so to accommodate the other person and not because I have to but purely because out of respect and its part of my job to do so.
I had an opportunity with Isidima Talent Management (ETQA Dept) and I asked the recruiter, Sarah if we could possibly meet earlier than the given time and this was her response:
"Dear Abigail.
Due to the overwhelming response we received to the internship post, the interview schedule is extremely compressed - for the sake of productivity.
Hence, seeing as you cannot make it at the time allocated to you, your slot has been filled by someone else. Furthermore, 7:30am is generally not a suitable time for anyone to be interviewed.

She has even given my spot to someone else and not responding on my emails anymore.
So thank you Sarah for taking away my hopes and dreams
