Let me start of by saying I have NEVER been an Edcon/Edgars account holder. AFTER THIS I NEVER WILL BE!!!
I have been receiving sms specials and account statements for a lady by the name of Louetta (presumably put my phone number in place of hers by transposing numbers).
I have called the Edcon call centre MANY times (AT MY COST!!!) to ask them to delete my number off thier system as the constant SMS's and CALLS are getting very very very annoying. But alas to no avail, first i was told this would be impossible (by your INCOMPETENT call centre agents) without Louetta's account details and account number (I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS WOMAN)
Then I finally got through to an Edon Regional Customer Services Manager (a lady whose name escapes me right now) who promised me that everything would be sorted (2 Months ago).
Well I'm STILL receiving your messages and calls. FIX IT!!! and while you're at it you can reimburse me for my airtime.
This is my last warning next time I will be going to the NCPA!!! as this is unsolicited marketing and against the consumer protection act.
