Completely incompetent

I paid off my Hi-Finance, wanting to close off my loan account. I did this and the accounts lady told me I may need to pay an extra arrears amount, but she was not sure, so she would call me in a few days to let me know. She did not call, and when I went to another incredible connection and spoke to someone else in finance even that person told me she was incompetent and knew her by name. I was told I actually paid R0.98 extra and that the next debit order would automatically be stopped. This morning I wake up to a bank notification informing me the debit order had still continued. I feel very irritated as I feel I have done everything to avoid being debited after I finish payment. Even going to another branch as nobody at Cresta seemed very sure about anything. I would like this matter sorted as soon as possible, and the money now debited from my account reimbursed.
