I bought some new (not second-hand) audio equipment on 31 December 2013 and later that day decided that I didn't really need it. As the store was not open the next day I decided to return the goods in an unopened condition today (2 January 2014).
I was then informed by the manager, Prince, that they would not exchange the goods for cash and offered me these two options:
a) They would buy the goods back from me at a negotiated reduced price, or
b) they would issue me with a voucher to the value of the goods purchased and that this voucher would expire on 2 February 2014 (how does money expire?) and was only valid at 4 specific Cash Crusader stores.
As I did not want to carry the risk of something happening to the goods while in my possession, I chose option B and stated that I preferred a full refund as there was nothing I required.
