I purchased the Alex Ferguson Autobiography on TakeAlot on Fri 20 Dec 13. First checked the site to see price of book and if in stock, as I wanted to get the book as Xmas gift for my dad. As there was stock and I could get the book before xmas I chose takealot. Bought from them before with no issues. On the site it said book in stock and I could collect in Cpt by 20 Dec 2013 for free or choose the shipping option and get by 24 dec 2013. Did not want to cut too close so went with collect opt (previous items purchased delivered). I first tried to purchase via debit card, but could not get the payment through as I needed to use my cell for prompts. My cell battery died, so debit card not an option. So I cleared my cache and tried the process again using my credit card. Again in stock displayed. Made purchase and confirmation said available by 20 dec 2013. I went to collect. Was told item not arrived & to come back when i get email. Then went shopping. Called l8r to ask if item there, was told only get on 27th, no stock in cpt. My order hist on the site still says 20 dec 2013. Would not have bought if I could not get before xmas. Mislead into purchase due to false info on the site.
