I have purchased furniture to the value of R20, 000 from Rochester. I will never ever ever be purchasing any further goods.
Three times in a row, the delivery either never took place or they pitched up at my house at 6:30pm in the evening. This only after numerous screaming matches on the phone with the store and dispatch teams.
I have been promised a R700 voucher from their management, which I have yet to receive. A brand new lounge suite was delivered this past Saturday. The daybed is clearly damaged. I have reported this to Keith, the Stoneridge Branch Manager and no surprises... I have yet to hear back from him.
Am I supposed to pay full price for damaged goods!!! Don't I have rights as a consumer!!!
Maybe somebody will respond to this complaint. Next step... consumer protection board for a full refund!!!
