I was purchasing a deodorant spray which showed R19.99 pricing on the shelves. At the til it scanned R25.99. The cashier then called Kwena (VTE Supervisor) who refused to give me the spray at shelve price. His reason was that I work there and can't be granted same treatment as they would customers. My issue is I don't work for P'nP I work for Smollan and secondly I should be treated as a customer as I was paying full amount. I did mention that I was buying for a customer but he still refused. I'm not complaining about the few extra rands but the principle behind. When I'm at the til spending my money I should be treated as a customer. I suppose we are not all passionate about customer service. I was even surprised when he said I can go ahead and lay a complaint if i wish. I'm really not a happy camper right now. I come from a sales and customer service management backgroud. It's just sad that not all superiors are customer service oriented.
