On Wednesday 04 December I arrived at Spar Tops in Linden at 19h55 to buy a drink to end off my wedding anniversary perfectly. The door was closed already. I walked up to it because I am a very regular customer ( /-3 times per week) and know that the store closes at 8pm. Two staff members on duty did not want to open and insisted they are closed. Their colleague, Brandon, from the Spar store walked over and told them that there are still 4-minutes to go and they refused. Brandon recognised me as a regular customer.
I then insisted that it is not yet 8pm. They were very stubborn, but eventually opened and one looked at me and rudely said "Make it snappy! ". I then took my goods and paid for it. While leaving, the other staff member looked at me and said, "Next time come earlier.". I responded and said "Next time, you close the doors at 8."
I found the conduct of the Spar staff VERY rude and whether I am a regular or not, it is irrespective. Customers are not treated in that fashion at all!
My receipt is proof that I was on time: the time is 19:57:21.
I expect that this matter is addressed in the customer friendly manner I have grown to know at MY Spa
