Get money back after computer froze

I wanted to buy a watch at the shop, and when I wanted to pay, the lady swiped my card and then the computer froze. Which means she does not know if the card went through or not. So she said that we can swipe again and the money will be back in our accounts within 24 - 48 hours. It is now a week and a half later and they tell me the money should be in my account within the next 2 weeks!! Unacceptable. I will never buy from American Swiss again!
