Today I contacted the Amanzimtoti Branch to enquire about the advertised special on the Vodacom 3G Internet starter pack. The special is supposed to run from the 3rd Dec to the 24th Dec only to be told that they were out of stock and did not expect supplies for 2 weeks. I then Phoned the Springfield Branch and was informed that they had PLENTY of stock. I drove 50km after work from Amanzimtoti to Springfield only to be told that they too had run out of stock at 9am this morning and that they would take down my details and contact me when they got stock that means that I traveled another 50Km all the way home empty handed. To go back again would mean another 100 KM of time and petrol. How can you run a special and not have enough stock on hand to fill the demand or is this another marketing ploy to get people into the shop? By the way I spend thousands of Rands at Makro.
