Injured 9 month old baby

On Sunday 01 December at 11:40 I arrived at Pick n pay north gate I placed my month old baby in the trolley (child seat). Not 5 minutes after he had been placed in he trolley had the seat snapped and my son fell to the bottom of the trolley hitting his head on the way down! I immediately grabbed him out and tried to calm him down, while my mother went to report the incident to the manager. The manager then marked the trolley and took it to the back room! the manager then explained that he would personally call me the very next day to find out how my son was doing and explain how they were going to handle the situation from there. needless to say it is Tuesday 03/12/2013 and I HAVE NOT YET RECIEVED ANY PHONE CALL!!! this is completely disgusting that you would neglect your equipment and make it such an unsafe environment for children! you may not be effected by the loss of 1 customer but I sure as will not hesitate shopping in a store that I know is safe for me and my son. So thank you Pick n Pay for helping me make better shopping choices in the future!!!
