This opened up a few months ago. It was headlined to be a new concept for Pick n Pay... Well, it definitely is... The staff on the tills are rude, there is never enough tills open, the tellers would rather chat to the packers, than check out groceries. I have stood in the queue, and watched these people chat amongst themselves, instead of servicing the people. Totally shocking... On yes and if your only going into the store for a few items... Beware. There is no express check out. You have to stand in the 50 plus queue, behind everyone else with trolleys. You can't use the tobacco stall, as it is 10 - 20 people deep and 1 or maybe 2 tellers. And believe me... they are slow.
As for management, they are not to be seen. Unless you pop ypur head round the corner in the Hava Java coffee shop, where they can be seen relaxing drinking mugs of coffee.
I stay 200 Meyers away from this store and would rather drive a few kilometers into Benoni. The Brentwood store is a disgrace...
