Poor quality of shoes

I've worn Levi's sneakers for many years - the first pair wore out due to over wearing, the second pair are still going strong about 3 years later. Sadly, my third pair are no more than 6 months old and they are by far the poorest quality. The white toe-cap has cracked open on top and the glue holding the sole onto the canvas upper has come unglued. I love my Levi's but after this pair I don't know that I'll be buying another.
