I went to Makro on the 20th of November 2013 to buy the Magic pedal Racing car that's on promotion for R795 for my sons birthday. When I arrived at the store I was told that there was no available stock in the store but there could be in storage. I then waited 45 minutes for the staff to check the store room. After my 45 minute wait I was advised that there was no stock available and that one of the stores representatives would call me as soon as the new stock arrived. I wrote down my details and left the store. I have been waiting almost a week with no response from the store. This week I was advised by one of my friends who was buying the same toy for his son that he managed to get it on monday from the store but when I called Makro they advised that there was no stock again. My question to Makro is simple why are you advertising items that you clearly do not have in stock? its heartbreaking to tell a 3 year old that they didn't have what he wanted for his birthday and it's even harder to tell them that you're still waiting for it to arrive. At the moment it would be a clear enough statement to make that Makro hate children... I am very disappointed as a custome
