No Stock, Customers must call first!!

Went to Makro Wonderboom yesterday, to purchase the "Campmaster Shorts" advertised at R79 each. There were 3 ladies in the clothing department, one sitting, and the other 2 standing, and chatting like they were on leave!! I had to say: "Excuse me, can someone assist me" twice!! I was then informed that none of the Makro branches received stock. The cherry on the cake was, when I was told to first phone the store upfront, before going to the store to buy advertised items!! Is it my responsibility to check stock availability?? Did I print the ads in the pamflets?? When will Makro start taking responsibility?? Is the Customer is ALWAYS WRONG" now the new term?? When will the stock arrive?? Before, or after the special?? Raymund
