I bought a DH skirt in April at Truworths Richards Bay and a DH dress in September. The skirt got torn from the slit up, the lining of the dress got torn as well. On Thursday, 21 Nov, I took the two items back to the store with receipts. The manager in charge, Maggy, who refused to give me her surname as she said it was not important was very rude to me. She refused to exchange the items for me and said I must wait for the Area Manager who was to come on Monday, 25 Nov, even after I had explained how urgently I needed the items as I had to use them at church. Maggy was arrogant, rude and showed that she did not care about customers. She humiliated me in front of other customers. She said she did not care what I say all she says is that she will not exchange items. The question is if the manager can be so rude, what is she teaching her subordinates. I was very disappointed and I left with my torn items.
