I have always bought my clothes from truworths without trying them on in the shop, to try at home and i return what i am not happy with. i bought a ginger mary top from truworths in Kimberley CBD where i work. i did not like how the top felt so i returned it to the diamond mall on the saturday. at first i was accused of taking the label off of the top and replacing it because the label was not in a position where it should be of which i have never done. the plastic tag was perfectly intact and not even slightly bent. when i told them that i did not do that, the supervisor then claimed that the top had make up on which if she did not point it out i would not have noticed, it was not from me as i tried on the top after showering. i was told that truworths CBD should have made a note on the slip, is that seriously my issue when i didnt even notice it when it was pointed out? they then refused to return the top and issued a "returns query" . i am extremely dissatisfied with the way inwhich i was humilited at the till. i dont know what type of clients truworths has, but i am not one of them. i have spent tens of thousands at truworths and to be treated like this is the unacceptable.
