On the 23 or 24th November I went to the Ottery Pick n Pay to purchase a "Variety Pack". This is meant to consist of "boneless gammon, corned beef and tongue". The label on the all the variety packs states that it 'consists of' all three meats yet only one or two consisted of all the meats. The rest of the packets were only stocked with gammon and corned beef. I asked for the manager and I spoke to the fish manager, Ragmah. She said that to include tongue, they would have to re-weigh the packet i chose. She said the reason for the variety packs not including what the label clearly states they include is because they 'ran out of tongue'.It was clear at this juncture that Pick n Pay will falsely advertise even when they are aware that they do not have stock of something. I was then passed onto another floor supervisor Sulaiman, and then i was passed onto the most disgusting manager i have ever been in contact with Walid Adams. His manner was abrupt, curt, impatient and uncourteous, never have i ever encountered such disregard for a customer. I want redress Pick n Pay you misled your loyal customer and i received disgusting service to top it all off. Be THE brand!
