Have just tried to telephonically amend my order to be told by 'support' (Nkululeko) that they need a manager to do that and there is no one available as it is a Saturday.? This is typical of most SA online sites - they just don't have a clue about satisfying their customers so that they come back! Have had similar bad experiences with Woolworths online. "Employees must be shown the bottom line impact of bad customer experience and bad customer service, staff need to understand that the company will not exist without the customer, and adopt a 'The customer pays my salary' mindset." I spend thousands of Rand buying stuff from Amazon, eBay and other overseas sites and they are a pleasant experience to use. The Dion Wired site takes forever to load (next to the DSTV site it is the slowest I have come across) and that constant 'Find a store' pop-up is a real nuisance. I can click on the heading if I need to use it! My experience with Checkout was also annoying as it wouldn't go through without a landline number - though this is not a required field. Many people don't have landlines anymore (relying on mobile). DION WIRED wake-up!
