We went to 2 different Edgars Stores, Jet Stores and CNA (Carnival Mall and East Rand Mall) to open a new account with them. When they enter my husband's ID, their system keeps on saying that his ID and Surname does not match!!! The store's assistant (Gugu) tried to call from the branch and ended up calling about 6 different numbers to try and get us to open an account.
Today I called myself and was asked to call 4 different numbers as no one can help me.
I think this is so pathetic and useless. We opened an account with House and Home 2 weeks ago for more than R40k and there was no problem. We bought 2 brand new cars in March 2013 and there was no problem!!
They have my husband's Edgars Cash Account and there was no problem with that. We have this Cash Account since December 2012 and they pick this up on their system.
This is the best of incompetence I have every came across and I wish someone will reply to me and tell me what am I suppose to do?
