I spend thousands every month at our Lakefield Square Pick 'n Pay the owners know me very well. We are staying in Umhloti on our annual holiday and since the spar here doesn't have much I decided to drive to the Pick 'n Pay well when I looked at the meat I was disgusted there were lots of packets of mince, lamb chops, wors that had all turned brown in colour as they were all turning and going off. I battled to find meat for our braai for tomorrow night and mince for tonight but eventually found a few packets and pray we don't get sick. I asked a gent I saw by the chicken if he lives around there and he said yes we discussed the meat he said he only really buys chicken there and only one way to find out is to eat the food and see if you have a strong stomach. Another couple were also battling to buy meat. Umhlanga Pick 'n Pay I will be taking this matter much further you cannot sell that to the public.
