Went to your store on Saturday 02/11 to buy meat, amongst the purchase I bought two single packs of T-Bone steak with BBQ spice on it at R69.90 per kg. Costing over R45 per pack.
Put it in the freezer on Saturday and cooked it last night after defrosting it in my fridge only to have sour rotton steak to serve for supper.
There was no expiry date on the pack when I checked last night and now realise that the steak was expired and BBQ spice thrown over it to get rid of it.
I think it is disgusting that you guys could can do that to your customers, I can only imagine what you do with your expired chicken? Send it to the hot foods section I am sure.
Also found fruit that was rotting, banana's that were so overiped an selling the garbage at R5.99 per KG
In this tough economic times your franchisees are running their stores like this? Won't be back anytime soon. I live in Milnerton and drive through to that store. I have the rotton steak in my freezer if you interested in collecting it as I am not driving all that way.
