The words rip off have a whole new meaning to this lot. My husband purchased a Rocket E-Cigarette for me on 1 November 2013 and gave it to me as a gift on Saturday 2 November. Although I followed the instructions carefully, by Sunday 12h00 on 3 November 2013, the thing stopped working [even though it was fully charged]. Sean, the owner of the shop told me that he'd had 30 units returned to him and no fault was found with the e-cigarettes and every one was put down to user error.[REALLY??? ] Therefore, without even looking at the device he would not be refunding my money nor exchanging it... Until his supplier has had a look at the unit. I ask, with tears in my eyes, what ever happened to the new consumer act??? Surely he is not above the law???
