I went to Mr Price yesterday to purchase a few household goods and to also browse - I have always enjoyed the products they have.
However, I was so disgusted with what happened to me yesterday that I am seriously considering never going back again. The cashier that assisted me swipped my debit card, and then I waited a while for the slip. Eventually I peered over the counter to see what the hold up was and found that she had her hand so far down her pants "digging" for a pen that I couldn't believe what I had actually seen, she then handed me the pen to sign, and when I refused to touch it she nonchalantly just said "ok" and I left. (Please note that her hand was inside her pants, so where that pen was hidden I have no idea, and I actually don't want to know). I still can't believe it, how disgusting and shocking!!
If it so difficult to keep pens, perhaps Mr Price should consider giving their staff pens for around their necks...
