Raw roasted chicken

We often do our shopping at the Checkers in Cobble Walk centre in Durbanville and we have always been extremely happy with the service. The staff is super-friendly and helpful and have on many occasions went out of their way to maintain the excellent reputation the Checkers in Cobble Walk has.

However, on a friend's recommendation I went to Checkers last night to buy a "Roasted chicken' in a bag as they said that this was delicious. As I cut the chicken in portions for the family, I saw that the chicken was still raw as there were blood still close to the bones and the meat were really pink. As this was what we had planned for dinner, I had to cook the meat that looked sort-of cooked in the microwave, but had to throw away most of the chicken.

I was extremely disappointed that Checkers disappointed in this regard.
