I bought a trim tech trimmer from Makro. Less than 60 days later the trimmer stops working after I used it about thrice to trim my lawn. I take it back saying I want a replacement and am told that they have to send it to the supplier to ensure there was not abuse, so I agree. I am then told to collect my trimmer as it was repaired. I didnt asked for the repairs and certainly dont want a trimmer if its such bad quality that it packs up after 3 uses. And to top it all there are big sign boards up stating I can get a refund if the item becomes faulty within 60 days. I have since lodged a complaint with the consumer protector and will see if this issue gets resolved. Not happy with Makro after being such a loyal customer for so many years! I have called their head office and Sandy could not help me... sad, sad, sad...
