Bad service / Unnecessary interest

We've bought a furniture at Ok in Kuisriver and we've been paying our account up to date till my Husband got injured and went for an operation in July and he was book off for 2 months by the doctor without pay because his sick leave was finished at work. We went to Ok Furniture in Bellville to tell them that we wont be able to pay the account for 2 months and they told us that we must fill in the form take to the doctor to complete and to work and we've done that and submitted the claim form in August 2012. NO one has contacted us for a while and they called my Husband in October or November to tell him that the account was in arrears and he asked how come because we did submit claim and reported that we won't be able to pay and they say the insurance did not approve the claim you must be sick for more than 3 months but I mean if you are not working where are you supposed to get the money from and it's not like we didn't report it we report it, we did tell them about it. Now yesterday they have sent debt collectors into my house to tell me that my account is in arrers and I need to pay that money urgently> I mean they were supposed to tell me long time that they didn't approve acc
