Thank you for your response to the HeloPeter site. And also to Grant Payne who contacted me on the very same day I complained which was 11th October 2013. He also apologised for the poor experience I've had and offered 2 provide a more pleasurable experience the next time I visit the store. Today, I walked into the shop again, not necessarily craving fish, but I decided to take Grant up on his offer. He was very polite and friendly when I introduced myself. What I like about Grant is that I didn't have 2 explain who I was. He remembered immediately, when I told him just my first name. This tells me that he is a person who knows and remembers people and I didn't have to elaborate my story again. We walked to the Deli, where he asked the lady to hand him a piece of fish, and he tested it with a fork, and revealed the texture of the fish to me. I could see that it was fresh and the meat of the fish was still white. When I got back to the office, I tasted the fish. & 2 my great expectation, it was wonderfully fried. Not saturated with oil, batter just right. Skin perfectly intact and meat fresh, white and moist. Thank you Shoprite for taking the time 2 right the unpleasant experience
