Coca-Cola South Africa
Expired Coke in PnP Fridges

Yesterday I popped into PnP Port Alfred to buy a 2l Coke. Later the evening I pour a glass and start sipping down. It tasted quite unusual, but I thought something I ate must be effecting the taste.By the time I reached the bottom of the glass it tasted even worse. I check the best before date on the bottle and find it saying 5 September 2013, meaning I just drank a glass of Coke that expired over a month ago. Needless to say I spend the rest of the night running for the toilet as my stomach was extremely upset. First thing this morning I go back to PnP and explain the situation. After interrogating me over not having my invoice (cause I keep every single slip, NOT!) they let me swop it, but I could clearly see the manager thinks I'm trying to pull a fast one. Luckily for me I very quickly find another couple of expired 2litres and take it to the manager. His response is... Coka-Cola must have delivered us old stock. I doubt this is the case, but thought I would bring it to your attention. PnP Port Alfred's fridges aren't even cooling the drinks (room temperature at best) and half the fridge is stocked with old expired stock. How many people don't even look and drink that nasty...
