I purchased a Salomon Speed cross 3 - 6 months ago since I was going to do a lot of bush walks on a production I was on as a medic and saw when I cam back it was separating at the toe part of the shoe. A few people I knew referred me to this shoe for its comfort and I quickly loved the shoe myself, however I decided to take it back after this defect and even if I received good service form the retail store where I purchased he shoe it had to be shown to the Rep to make a decision.
After a few days I got a call from the store that the rep is happy to glue the part that separated back together and I wasn't happy with this since I paid R1 400 for this product and asked that I may have the Rep's number which they couldn't give me back but said he would call me.
I got a call saying " Hi it's Shane I hear you are looking for me? " no introduction as to who he is and what he was calling I then had to ask Shane form were and he said the Salomon Rep and immediately "I'm not replacing the shoe I will take it to the factory to have it glued and that's that, take it or leave it. I said I would tell everyone about this service and he said "I don't care" Done with Salomon apparel from now on..
