I went to purchase some drinking glasses for my home and the norm that i always purchase is a set of 12 glasses. Now i went to purchase "Value Choice: Set of 4 Tumblers", 3 boxes of to make 12 glasses. Once i had got home, i saw two of the glasses in one pack were broken, so i took them back to Centurion Lifestyle where i purchased them and the lady asked if i wanted a refund or to return. I kindly said i would like the glasses, but not broken ones. So she proceeded to tell me they were out of stock.
I asked her nicely to phone Centurion Mall to ask if they still had stock, however she just looked on their system and said they definately had. I drove all the way to the mall to get one pack of glasses, just for another lady to say all their stock is damaged and out of stock.By this time i was fuming, due to the fact that i had driven out all my petrol and no one was willing to lift a phone to call another store.
This is extremely bad customer service and i will most probably not shop @ Boardmans anymore. And I am still waiting for someone to contact me regarding the last pack of 4 tumbler glasses, almost 1 week later.
