Cell Phone info on records!

I bought a BlackBerry 8520 in 2009 at Woolies Blue Route, Cape Town. i bought it cash - i have no account with Woolies.

Tuesday 02 October, the BB i bought got. I called Vodacom Call centre to block my sim BUT i do not have possession of the IMEI number of my BB as i have moved house twice in the past years. I went to Woolies Blue Route Cell phone counter, the consultant used my ID number and pulled my details for 2009 all my info was correct BUT too our surprise the consultant that sold me the phone never loaded my IMEI number basically saying Woolies has no record of the phone being sold to me!

Seems to me now its my problem because i have no proof

Now, I am a Investigator, so the reason i want to block my BB is due too not only my facebook and all other things its basically my GMAIL is open on the phone where the person who has it has access to my personal documents... ID, Banks statements, etc.

I NEED HELP FROM SOME-ONE IN WOOLWORTHS TO JUST TRACK MY IMEI NUMBER SO I CAN HAVE THE PHONE BLOCKED..
