On 2nd of September I purchased a Queen Bed and Refrigerator on account at our local Lewis in Stutterheim, and bought with cash a set of Stove, microwave, iron and toaster. Upon unpacking the appliances I discovered the microwave was old scratched and had been used prior being sold to me. I took the microwave back to Lewis and they replaced it. Ive recently moved into this apartment and all the electrical appliances are from Lewis supposedly brand new. Since I started using their appliances I have had electrical issues and complained to my landlord demanding the electricity be fixed, an electrican came and I was proven wrong as there is nothing wrong with the electricity supply. I have had to throw away a whole months groceries because the refrigerator trips the electricity and my food rots. Finally I managed to narrow it down to the refrigerator that is causing the blackout, Ive lodged a complaint since monday 01 October with Lewis and nothing has been done to replace the refrigerator even though it was sold to me with a fault and is on warranty. Lewis has robbed me once before by selling me a refrigerator with a faulty door two years ago and till now they never fixed it.
