We (mistakenly) purchased a leather recliner & 3 seater couch from Corri Craft ("CC"). The recliner broke & was replaced after numerous visits, errors in coordination, etc, replacement unit had no Scotch guard & the set no longer matches - as was the requirement from the outset.
Next the 3 seater couch broke in the centre of the unit. I have been advised this is now "older than 6 months" will not be renewed but repaired - which we do not accept. (it was established this is a common problem as a centre support will be fitted!!! - IE design defect)
On request of a full refund of all furniture & a further item paid for in full and not yet collected I have been advised we will be subject to a 10 to 15% handling fee although the error of manufacture is on "CC" part entirely- after both units of the supplier failed - one within 6 months & other just out!!! - I find that extremely disconcerting and in principal require a full refund. On requesting to speak to the MD I was told he does not "SPEAK TO THE PUBLIC" - (his clients in fact!!!) Whew, is that the correct manner to deal with clients who in fact pay his and all of Corri Crafts salaries?
