Bad manner of approach, embarrasment and humilation

My sister & I went to Checkers at Springs on Monday (8th of July 2013). We had a packet of sweets & a drink which I bought somewhere, we asked the security guard at the door to sign them for us. When we were busy with our shopping, the guy who was packing drinks saw me with my drink (the one we went inside with). He then went to tell one of his colleagues, a lady who was packing magazines by the door. So, while we were at the till paying for the things we bought there, that lady came to us and approached us badly, accusing us of the drink, embarrassing and humiliating us in front of everyone (she didn't' even ask us first). The only thing that saved us was the fact that the drink & sweets were signed by the security to prove that we didn't them. I understand they were doing their job or trying to be good employees, but why didn't they ask us first?!? Why give us such bad manner of approach, embarrass & humilate us like that! We are customers, we don't deserve such treatment, especially as we didn't do anything wrong. Is that the kind of treatment Checkers employees are told to give their customers? Why must we be treated so bad when we go shop at Checkers?
