I went to CNA Cresta with a CNA old paper gift voucher that I had discovered at home. I asked if they could redeem it and was told that they were not accepted any more. I was given the head office number and told to phone myself. I then insisted on the store manager phoning CNA head office to ask for permission to redeem the voucher. He passed it on to one of the cashiers who then ended up repeating the story to about 3 different people at the head office and i had to wait for 20 mins for her to get some sort of approval. The assistant store manager and a cashier then tried for about 10 mins to figure out how to put the voucher through on the system and then this manager then disappeared from the front of the store. Once I had found an item to purchase I then had to wait more than 10 mins for a manager to come and authorize the sale. In total I waited more than 40 minutes in the store have the sale put through. This highlights CNA's very poor communication and training practices and poor management by the store manager.
I appreciate the help in accepting the old voucher but this kind of slow and poor service is not good enough.
